It is possible to deal with the entire environment as a work of art. (Marshall McLuhan)
WANT TO PARTICIPATE?
Any artists out there?

Passion for photography? Passion for the environment? Why not merge both?
Photography has played a key role in helping spread awareness about the richness of our earth for years. After all, if you are surrounded by gray city walls how can you appreciate and care about something you cannot see? Here at FDR, we want to empower students to display their photo work in the conference, to be seen by hundreds. So, if you are a student photographer or teacher attending the conference, feel free to send us any green photographs you have; help protect the earth through your talents! |
If you are interested in exhibiting pieces of ART that are related to the ENVIRONMENT, CLIMATE CHANGE, or RAISING AWARENESS about one of these issues, don't hesitate to contact one of the following members:

You don't need to be the best artists in town to share your work with the community; one of our main goals at CLima is to empower student leaders to change the world, and take responsibility for the problems that we are causing. A student leader? YOU could definitely be one!
Take the CLIMA challenge:
Create a piece of recycled material expressing the theme of our conference: CHANGE WISELY. This can be done individually or in groups of up to 4 participants. Post it in twitter and tag @clima14fdr with the hashtags #climaarts, #changewisely in order to be considered for the contest. The overall winners will be announced in November (so you've got time!) and will display their masterpieces in the FDR Performing Arts Center! Put your artistic juices together and start working! We are looking forward to seeing your originality and participation in crafting this event :)
