Colegio Roosevelt Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The PTA at Colegio Roosevelt is a wonderful collection of dedicated parents who through fundraising activities have been generous donors for student-driven sustainability initiatives within our school community. Through their grant we will be collaboratively constructing a vertical garden at the CLima event. A sustainable and lasting gift from conference participants to the school that will continue sequestering carbon far into the future.
The Parents' Association (PTA) is an organization that both represents and includes all Roosevelt parents.
The PTA’s mission is to build community, help in fundraising and channel parent ideas, suggestions and concerns to the Administration and the School Board.
The PTA Goals and Purposes as stated in its bylaws are to:

- Promote the welfare of students through parent involvement in school and student activities.
- Bring together families of different nationalities by promoting understanding and cooperation, without discrimination.
- Promote open communication between parents, teachers, the school administration and the Board of Directors.
- Support all fundraising activities of the school.
- Contribute to the improvement of the services, infrastructure and equipment at FDR.
- Promote school spirit and pride.
- Promote the education of values in accordance with the Mission Statement and the school’s honor code
