Model United Nations
Model United Nations Climate Change Conference -
MUN Groups from Roosevelt, LAHC Schools (Newton, Markham, San Silvestre), AASSA, Tri-Association Schools as well as Schools from US and Canada, ECIS, EARCOS, GISS and beyond will be invited to participate to attend with approx. 100-120 students total present for this aspect of the conference.
It will be possible for students attending to participate in all three aspects of CLima (GIN, MUN, EDx) if they so wish to.
This MUN Conference will be different in that the issue seeking resolution is directly mirrored in the UN Climate Talks which will occur one week following (Dec 1-14) in the same city - Lima, Peru.
All resolutions created through CLima 2014 will be documented and shared with our UN Colleagues via media and UNFCC COP20 Organizer connections.
The objective is to establish that peaceful, equitable, resolution is possible, and to provide definitive details and modeling of behavior that indicates how this is done.
Students leading leaders.
Three Committees to Discuss Kyoto Protocols
1. Emissions Trading, 2. Clean Development, 3. Joint Implementation
